Your Role
As a Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that engage and inspire our audiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Amazon’s objectives, enhancing our online presence and audience engagement.
- Manage and optimize all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create engaging content tailored for diverse platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize reach and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content.
- Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages promptly to build a strong community and foster customer loyalty.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and propose innovative ideas to enhance our strategy.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead in the competitive social media landscape.
- Organize and execute social media campaigns that promote new products, services, and events effectively.
- Train and mentor junior members of the social media team, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous social media campaigns and successful engagement strategies.
- Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within teams.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and how social media impacts organic search.
